Homemade Cheese Recipe: Ricotta Delight

This super simple recipe will have you making your own cheese in no time!

Ingredient List:

4 cups raw milk

1/4 cup of lemon juice or white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon of salt


Yields: 1 cup fresh ricotta


How to:


Mix the three ingredients together in a bowl, pour into a saucepan over medium heat - stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 165-170 degrees.

Remove from heat and let sit for 5-10 minutes until milk starts to separate and milk curds start rising to the top.


Using slotted spoon, remove curds and place them in a separate bowl through a cheesecloth.


Let cool and serve.
